H.R. Creel

Golden Star

a gleaming sense
of judgement
shuffles down the street

we no longer wear
stars on our breasts
to mark us, divide us

now the divisions
are felt and sensed
with no change in costume.

H.R. Creel is too old not to write. He was born in 1952 in Connecticut, and now travels all over. H.R. has been featured on I Am Not A Silent Poet recently.
