Mike Jenkins

Mike Jenkins b. 1953 is the editor of Red Poets, former editor of Poetry Wales, and a Fellow of the Welsh writing Academi. He has won numerous prizes and awards including Welsh Book of the Year 1998 for his book of short stories Wanting to Belong, an Eric Gregory and Welsh Arts Council awards. (2020), Yer Ower Voices (2023), and We Not Me / Ni Nid Fi (2025). He lives in Merthyr Tydfil.
